These displays in Smailholm Tower narrate some of the key elements in the the songs “The Lay of the Last Minstrel” and “Lord Thomas and Fair Anne”. I’m not familiar with these songs, but since a harp was included in the displays I think I’ll look them up and see if the harp plays a role in the stories.
